If you need more than one mic input, then the Connect 802 provides an extra XLR mic connection. In other regards, it has the same features and specifications as the 502. Each of the first 2 channels can be used for either a mic or an instrument. It has 8 Total inputs (2 x XLR / 6.3mm Jack, 2 x twin 6.3mm jack) plus the USB connection.
